Ernst Verdonck Managing Partner
Tresfontaines Corporate Finance (TCF) was founded by Ernst Verdonck in 1999. He is managing partner of TCF and is particularly involved in cross border mergers & acquisitions and private equity investments.
Ernst has a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) of Nyenrode University (1982) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) / Master in International Management (MIM) of the American Graduate School of International Management (AGSIM / Thunderbird), Phoenix, AZ, USA (1983). He also has a post graduate degree Registered Management Consultant (RMC) of the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, Netherlands (1993).
Ernst started as a Management Trainee ABN-AMRO Bank NV Netherlands – Foreign Operations (1983-1985). He then worked as Senior Management Consultant at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) - Strategic Services and Finance (1985-1990). After this period, Ernst was Senior Manager at Coopers and Lybrand (PWC), Corporate Finance, the Netherlands (1990-1999). During this period he was based for two years in the M & A division, Caracas Venezuela and as liaison officer for PwC Netherlands and South America / Netherlands Antilles (1997-1999).
Ernst was President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board of ADVA (2002-2004). He was interim CFO at Futura Medical Plc., a company incorporated in England (2001). He was also a board member of Conporec Inc., Sorel-Tracy, Qc, Canada (2009).
Ernst is active as Board member and is involved in various real estate investments.
